Our Story

Biology to the Bottle: Our Story
For most of my career, my world was defined by human performance. As a specialist in health, fitness, and nutrition science, I viewed "health" through the lens of what we both put into bodies and how we use our body mind and spirit. But during the 2020 pandemic, while the world was scrubbing every surface in sight, my focus shifted to what we were putting around them.

I started looking at the ingredient labels of the cleaners we were told would "save" us. What I found was a chemical invasion—a trade-off where we exchanged visible cleanliness for hormonal disruption and respiratory stress.

A Mission Born of Science and Partnership
What began as curiosity turned into an obsession. Supported and motivated by my wife, who has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, we began to dissect the chemistry of "clean." We didn't just want a "green" alternative; we wanted a biologically superior one.

Together, we began to ask: Why does "effective" have to mean "toxic"?

For years, this was our quiet, "back-burner" mission. We experimented, refined, and tested. We weren't looking to start a business; we were looking for a way to protect our own home without compromising our health.

The Turning Point
The "Aha!" moment didn't happen in a lab—it happened in the homes of people who had given up on cleaning products entirely. We began seeing our formulations solve problems for those with severe allergies and chronic chemical sensitivities—people for whom standard cleaners were a literal health hazard.
When we realized we had engineered something that offered professional-grade strength without the biological cost, we knew we had to share it.

The Titan Standard
Today, DLS Formulations is a family business rooted in high-level science and a simple, uncompromising belief:
You should never have to choose between a clean home and a healthy body.
We’ve stripped away the toxins, eliminated the "green-washing," and focused on 100% bio-based purity. We are here to protect your people, your property, and our planet—one refill at a time.
